Adriana Cagigas Gil is a Spanish designer with background in fashion in charge of the sustainability strategy in DEYI 逸逸. She deeply believes in the power of ethical design to change our society. She has been the co-finalist of the Hong Kong EcoChic Redress Award in 2017, for the Wabi Sabi collection of her own sustainable fashion brand Threeones Studio, based in Spain.

Adriana loves challenging herself and learning new things. After her graduation in fashion design at ESNE University of Innovation in Madrid, she studied in L’Ecole de La Maille in Paris. Then she worked in the French capital as visual merchandiser and kept improving by learning fashion concepts from different perspectives. Passionate about Asian culture, she decided to leave for China to study Chinese traditional textiles in Nanjing University of Arts. In 2019, she achieved another dream by taking part in a program in contemporary art curating in Central Saint Martins, London, in order to complete her skills in the art world. The same year, after a successful athletic career in parallel with her work as a designer, Adriana has decided to devote herself fully to creation.

DEYI 德逸 is her new challenge. She decided to take part in this ethical project to achieve one of her greatest dreams: to contribute to preserve the textile cultural heritage in rural China with a sustainable approach.

“Sustainability is the future of the fashion industry. We have to develop new ways to preserve our limited natural resources and produce what we need without having a negative impact on our environment. I believe that designers have a huge power to make the world a better place. At least, this is what I am committed to do through my work.” Adriana
